You're not hurt, are you? [ It's probably a good thing they can't see how worried he is. Suddenly--ping! ]
Error: user ID 'Yuffie Kisaragi' not found
[ That's an unpleasant surprise. He checks his pokemon box--and finds Zuzu, looking forlorn. ]
[ Public text message sent out about an hour later: ]
If you knew Yuffie Kisaragi, she's been sent home.
[ He's just going to spend the rest of the day being grumpy and frustrated and torn between flying out to Goldenrod and staying on course to Blackthorn. ]

[ Okay, now this is just confusing. Leon thought he knew about all of Sora's adventures? ]

You know how you sometimes know something, and it's right on the tip of your tongue, but for whatever reason your brain's just not making the connection? That's exactly what it is-- I remember losing my Keyblade and feeling helpless back home, I'm just. I can't remember where and when that happened.
Right this second, that is. [with a determined note.] It's kind of stupid of me.

[the name clicks right back into place in Sora's brain after Leon says it, just like he'd said, like he'd figured. but something in Leon's question turns his stomach into knots.]
[some memories are nigh impossible to lose, and he now knows that this is one of them. he'll throw himself at remembering properly soon enough, but right now he just feels sick.]

[the latter part's probably true, at least, but Sora can't navigate this river of denial for very long. it's not in his nature; he can't just sit back and let losing his memories happen without confronting it.]
[after a moment he speaks up again.]
Leon? [now he just sounds scared.] We're... not going to forget each other here, are we?

When you came back...after being away for all that time...back to Hollow Bastion, I mean--there was a period when all of us forgot you. Only you.
[ A pause. ] I think someone was...tampering with us. [ But he has no way to be sure. Whatever it was, it was pretty suspect. ]

[which brings him to another thought.] One thing I remember before coming back here is arriving at some place called Castle Oblivion. It... The different floors turned into different worlds based off of my memories.
You were there-- at least, the Castle created you based on how I remembered you. [if he understands what Aerith told him correctly.]
But the weird thing is, you didn't remember me at first. None of the people in Traverse Town did, not until after I argued with you guys long enough.
I wonder if all of it's connected somehow.

[ A frown. ] I don't know a Castle Oblivion. Where was it?

We found it after defeating Ansem.

There were these guys in black hoods, and they kept telling me that you have to lose things to find other things in Castle Oblivion-- but they also told me that my friends could be found there, too. So I decided to search for them.
[because finding his friends mattered most to Sora, in that moment. he pretty much fell right into their trap.]

[ He says it with such distaste. THOSE DOUCHEBAGS. They fucked up Sora's memories, too? ]
It's too late now, but they're nothing but bad news.

They're not all bad news though, right? There's gotta be an exception... [because Sora's thinking of Roxas-- one of the last people he sees as bad. he would have a hard time thinking otherwise.]

[ ...damnit, he doesn't want to reveal too much. Leon doesn't know about Roxas, though. ]
Just--trust me on this. They're trouble, no matter what they say. No exceptions that I know of. [ They released an army of Heartless into his hometown ok that is not cool. ]
