[ The feed opens to a triumphant Lucario face. Behind Strike is the blue Olivine sky, framing Lucky and Skarmory's bulky frames as three of the girls of Leon's team relax on the sand. ]
I am with eggs.
[ Skarmory blinks, surprised, while Lucky rolls over onto her back and thumps her tail happily, raising clouds of dust. ]
Congratulations.
Why are you announcing it?
Why shouldn't I? Does it upset you? You've had a clutch of your own.
[ Skarmory clucks, as if indignant, turning her head away. ]
'Upset'? Upset's a strange emotion to give me. Eggs are the most natural thing in the world, after all; there's nothing to feel strongly
about.
And yet, you seem unhappy.
I'm not.
Skarmory's clutch is only three now, maybe that's why.
[ Lucky's simplistic statement draws a cluck-hiss like sawblades. ]
A clutch and a mate. A mate I cared for.
Ha, when you weren't busy clucking about his wingspan.
[ Strike's body language is teasing, but Skarmory lets her head drop to the sand. ]
I wish I'd gotten to keep them.
Why? It's the way of things; they need to see the world. Boss didn't even sell them.
[ With a sigh like wind through a pipe, Skarmory turns her attention to the Arcanine who's busy sunning her stomach. ]
What about you, Lucky?
Me? I'm not sure. Boss hatched me, and you all took care of me, and Strike is a good sister.
That's all? You have a brother and a mother. Flare and Ari.
I like them! But my family is you.
[ Seemingly annoyed, Skarmory reaches over and shuts off the feed with a precise jab of her beak. ]

Sometimes others come here that lost their family when their traners disappeared. I think that's pretty sad. I wouldn't want to split with them if my trainer leaves.

We also have team-mates like that. Al, Raichu, and Hart...
Alcauld, too. It is sad. I wouldn't want to leave Boss, myself. But I guess we have to resign ourselves to it.
